Dear Heavenly Father, Jesus my Savior and Comforter, and Holy Spirit my Counselor,

I am moved to pray for the victims of Venezuela from the earthquakes that have claimed at least 600 people and injured thousands in the city of Caracas and surrounding areas.  I pray that the rescue teams will have the needed resources to find those under the ruble and tend to those in need of medical attention.  May they find the love of Jesus through those who volunteer to aid them.

Dear Heavenly Father, Jesus my Savior and Comforter, and Holy Spirit my Counselor,

Thank you for your response to prayer of many for the effort to rescue victims of the Venezuela earthquakes.  I am certain you have stirred the hearts of those able to respond and even with bare hands dig to find those buried.

My heart was touched yesterday by someone responding to a post on Marketplace who wanted an adjustable bed base that was very heavy.  I was amazed that he took apart the pieces underneath to reduce the weight to move it easier.  I pray for Bill who has suffered from many different ailments that makes life difficult.  Please Lord, I know your power in healing and pray for his healing, he has had Leukemia, Kidney disease,  knee pain, and diabetes.  And to top this off, he went through a house fire that destroyed everything he owned.  Even through all that he still proclaims his faith.  Praise you Lord for saving him through all the trauma in his life.  I can't help but think of your servant Job.  Please comfort him and guide him to continue his journey in faith.

Dear Heavenly Father, Jesus my Savior and Comforter, Defender, and Holy Spirit my Counselor,

Today I pray for clarity in my search for a place to move.  I had a few in Owatonna scheduled, but didn't go since just driving by I could see I wouldn't be happy there.  My last appointment the apartments were nice, the building had many amenities and a few openings, although a little more expensive.  So I pray about finding what will be a place where you have my purpose in mind. 

I also am following the prayer guide from SIM, an International Ministry where they are committed to do as in 4 Corinthians 12 says "Just as a body, though one, has many parts but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ."   Sim has missions all over the world where they work together through a culture of transparency and trust sharing their experiences and helping people transition. Just as The Great commission says to go therefore go and make disciples of all nations" Matthew 28:19  Lord guide their steps to spread your Word to those who have not yet heard.

I pray for continued strength though you Lord to continue preparing for my move, where ever it ends up being.  Thanks for the provision for a new set of partials from the local dentist.  I need to take care of my health and not let things go.  

I also pray for SIM in their purpose and mission they state :  "We cross barriers to proclaim the crucified and risen Christ, expressing his love and compassion among those who live and die without Him.  We make disciples who will trust and obey Jesus, and become part of Christ-centered churches.  We work together with churches to fulfill God'[s mission across cultures locally and globally.  We facilitate the participation in cross-cultural ministry of those whom God is calling."

Thank you Lord for the open door of an apartment complex accepting my application, after facing other tours that ended up in closed doors.  I feel good about the move that will put me closer to one of my daughters.  It will be easier to visit.

I also pray for SIM in their vision where they state "The vision of SIM is to see a witness to Christ's love where He is least known, disciples of Jesus expressing God's love in their communities, and Christ-centered churches among all peoples."

Dear Heavenly Father, Jesus my Savior and Comforter, Defender, and Holy Spirit my Counselor,

In the midst of thunderstorms, I pray for my faith in you to guide me through  a move that will be more difficult from having to downsize years of collections, papers, books, toys for the grandkids, and saving things for my kids who moved away.  Looking at it now, I can see where the space and time it takes to keep them is a waste and sometimes not healthy to have around.  I would keep canning jars, where I haven't canned in maybe 5 years and then don't eat what I canned.  Thank you for your inspiration to weed out the papers that would never see the courtroom to prove something that is long past done and gone.  It only can cause painful memories, so out they go. I surrender my stuff to you Lord and know you can heal the scars from the past.

I also pray for the core values of SIM who state "they are dependent on God in prayer and the faithfulness of God and affirm the truth of the Bible.  They are diverse and are one in Christ.  They embrace, and are strengthened by  the international, interdenominational, and multi-ethnic diversity of his church.  They are disciples of Jesus who make disciples and cross barriers to fulfil God's global, urgent and unfinished mission.  They are Church-centered.  They are part of Christ's church and together plant, nurture, and equip churches. They are compassionate with their holistic service and eternal hope in Jesus Christ and his love.  They are obedient to God in relationship with each other and provide a community to learn, grow, and innovate together under the guidance of the Holy Spirit."

Dear Heavenly Father, Holy Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit,

I am grateful today for your blessings.  As our nation celebrates our 250th Birthday of its birth, I can see how things have changed, yet we have not lost our quest for liberty and freedom for all.  We have struggled and stretched the founders intention, there is a direction to follow God and know he is with us.  Although we feel the shakings you do to expose the darkness, it is to bring light to those seeking justice.  Thank you Lord God for blessing America!

As we walk the path to grow the community of faith, we pray with SIM "The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lod of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest" Matthew 9:37-38  May those working the field have vision through eyes of faith, as we see:  vibrant partnerships with the whole American church to recruit, mobilise, and care for more overseas ambassadors of Jesus.  May they have vision for 100 new workers being sent per year by 2030.  Have vision to support a flourishing, Spirit-led, well-staffed team equipped to live and serve with love and excellence.  I pray that SIM's ministry, by prayer, they recruit, prepare and journey with Christians sent by churches as we go and make disciples of Jesus Christ where needed most."

Thank you Lord for your love, I know you know me and never realized how you could even feel my feelings.  You are awesome, amazing, and full of grace.  I can't express how much I love you and need you.  As I prepare for the move of my physical location, I know you are with me and guiding me.  

Today I pray for the Angola nation where the Nyaneka live.  They are prone to poverty and subject to draughts, poor food and water security. The illnesses plaguing them include malaria, diarrhea and tuberculosis.  They are marginalized from the fear of witchcraft.  There has been progress with the Jesus Film and Extension books.  I pray for their leadership and healing from their obstetric fistulas, AIDS, epilepsy and fear of curses

Dear Heavenly Father, Holy Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit;

As you guide my steps today, I thank you for your favor for open doors for me and my family.  Even though there have been hard times, I have  detected your spirit within them that they have become more sensible and accepting of their limits.  It is a peaceful attitude of letting go of what they do not have the power to change and giving you the control of the outcome.

I also pray with SIM for the nation of Australia of a culturally diverse population.  30 percent of them are from overseas and up to 550k of international students each year.  The local ministry faced increasing secular beliefs that include ideology of New Age with no accountability claiming individualistic and antagonism towards the church .  Even with traditionally Australia identify as Christian, one eight attend church and the challenge is to reach communities among the immigrants and refugees and university students who have not yet heard the gospel.

Dear Heavenly Father, Holy Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit;

Today Lord, I am amongst those hurting needing your healing touch.  Please have mercy on us for our delay and help with the hand only you can do.  Thank you for what you have done in our hearts and given us so much to be thankful for.  You are the most loving, kind, and faithful Lord above all Lords.  I pray an extra prayer of stress relief for Elon and for sharing his burden for a hard day, knowing that  you can help him shoulder the pain he has.  

Also. I join SIM to pray for the nation of Bangladesh.  The Bengalis of about 175 million have   programs to serve women and children who have been human trafficked.  There are also needs to educate against arsenic poisoning, transformation from impoverished communities, and find vocational training for life skills.  We pray with SIM for Christian communities to collaborate and unity of believers to learn about the love of Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit; lr 90

Praise for your glory!  Your healing touch was felt and an overwhelming feeling of love.  I know it was you, no doubt.  Thank you for this, he is feeling much better.  I also praise you for your kind messages to me, counseling, warnings to align and direction.  I pray for the nation for what is going on in the government with serious illnesses and recent death of a Senator. 

I also pray with SIM for the nation of Benin Togo to achieve their  vision of the witness of Christ's love where he is least known.  I pray that they will train and see disciples of Jesus expressing God's love in their communities; and to see Christ centered churches spreading the gospel locally and beyond.  Please help the street kids, children impacted by HIV and AIDS, girls living in rural villages and need to hear your word about Jesus and experience his saving grace.

Dear Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit;

I have been occupied by moving to a new apartment in a different city, so although pray individually, I haven't been updating this website.  I pray for My oldest daughter, for a cough that she has had in the past few weeks.  Also, I pray for my youngest daughter who has been to ER for persistent upper abdomen.  I pray that the doctors will find what is causing the pain and help her recover.  I pray for my own health since moving has caused fatigue and stress.  Please Lord, I need your presence in my life and direction.

I also pray for the nation of Botswana to be set free from their animistic traditions. Lord may they receive the theological training and develop SIM prayer partners .  May there be more believers to hear your calling into ministry of mission.  The San are the dwellers of the Kalahari Desert and have been forced there away from there traditional hunting land.  They have been fortunate  to receive 90 recorded Bible stories, Sunday school material and a worship CD from retiring mission workers.

Dear Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit,

Thank you for the joyful day at church this morning.  I pray that I will not hoard my joy, find the fruit of the spirit in others such as love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control.  Galatians 5:22  May the children who are looking for safety and love find what they need, not being neglected or abused.  I pray the illegal immigrants be rejected and shipped back to where they came.  There is a history of how it leads to invasion of countries with lax immigration law and then a take over.  Father if there is a way to keep them with their own families and not think that they need to immigrate it would be a blessing.  

I also pray for the nation of Brazil.  The indigenous unreached peoples include 6000 groups with no gospel knowledge within 164 ethnicities.  Please allow the church to get involved in sending new workers to plant new churches with cross-cultural missions.

Dear Heavenly Father, Loving Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit;

I pray today for my oldest daughter's stepdaughter's mission trip to Ecuador.  I pray for their safe travel and a successful mission to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to them.  Lord show them your power through your mission workers to bring more believers to you.  

Praise you for relief of health issues for my youngest daughter.  She went to her Primary Care Doctor and he is following up with tests and she is starting to feel better.  I also pray for those whom I have shared my faith recently, knowing it may be difficult to understand.  I don't mean to make them feel uneasy, but some clarity to a stretch of silence that needed closure.  My intentions are to leave them with peace.

Today,  Lord I also lift up the nation of Burkina Faso in northwest Africa.  The nation needs your presence to help the human needs and equip the church for her growth and ministry to one of the poorest countries in the world.  They suffer from violence, aid distribution to internally displaced and suffering people.  They need scripture translation and audio production, evangelism and discipleship, community development and well-drilling  They have makeshift refugee camps where food and water are scarce for nearly two million who are displaced.

Dear Heavenly Father, Precious Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit,

I pray today for those who are suffering illness such as my youngest daughter as she navigates doctor appointments and dental pain that never seems to have an answer.  I pray for my sister facing serious medical diagnosis and future surgery.  I pray for my continuing transformation and acceptance of the necessity to surrender certain relationships to continue my commitment to the covenant I made with  God.  I pray for reconnections with high school peers at the 50th Anniversary of Graduation while we enjoy a cruise on Lake Minnetonka. 

I al the so pray for Johnathan Roumie in his continuing portrayal of Jesus Christ on the "Chosen" series season 6 -The Crucifixion.    As he is working to show the resurrection, may you Lord give him strength to maintain energy and personal commitment of his own faith that will shine through your presence.

 I also join the prayers with SIM, for the nation of Canada.  May there be success in the inroads for workers to build inroads for the spreading of the gospel to the marginalized and immigrant communities.  Since Canada is one of the most multi-cultural countries in the world, there are newcomers who become temporary workers in ag sector, sometimes in homelessness and poverty.  May there be a mobilization of local churches to fight the human trafficking and addictions where they can instill the gospel in their lives.

Dear Heavenly Father, Precious Most High Jesus my King, and the Comforter Holy Spirit.

I pray today to praise you for your protection during a trip to the cities for my 50th year graduation reunion.  Thank you for your presence to continue the journey despite many obstacles just to get there with delays that put me behind a half an hour and then getting to the dock on time.  Luckily by the grace of God, he sent me a young woman who ran ahead to say to wait for me since my neuropathy in my legs had slowed me down.  The group had a lovely cruise around Lake Minnetonka with food and drinks.  Then afterward, we headed to an after party.  The entertainment was great, Robert Grassel, a fellow classmate, was like a one man show.  He spun a story of time traveling and had us on the floor in stitches, then sang songs of remembrance for 27 of us who were gone.  He could play up a storm with his fellow band, at an epic level of expertise and sincerity.     There was a PowerPoint of the deceased as Bob sang and played favorite songs from the 70s.  I reconnected with some friends, whom some are facing serious illnesses such as Gary with cancer he has been battling with your help Lord, then Herb who had been hospitalized for pancreatic cancer for 3 years, which by the grace of God was able to recover.  My cup overflowed Lord, praise you.

I also pray for countries in Central Asia such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Astana, Bishkek, Tashkent and others.  May the love of Christ be know in the region through development of youth discipleship, leadership and Bible training for pastors and lay leaders.  Please help heal women who have experienced trauma and equip them to know what to do to avoid it.  Please Lord send workers to join in outreach and English teachers to work in pre-schools.  Although  there are only .02 per cent of the people who are Christians, they are often persecuted by their friends and neighbors, yet can still stand firm in their faith.  They form ways to have Bible studies.

Dear Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ my Savior, and Holy Sprit;

Thank you for your never ending mercy.  As I read a book telling the story behind an abused and neglected child and then growing up to find love.  I know there are a lot of people who have not been loved, yet you find a way for them to find it.  You mend hearts and write their story of a miracle.  Your love can change hearts to forgive and forget their bitterness.  Thank you.

I also pray for the nation of Chile.  That they will grow with the mission movement to develop more disciples who will build their church leadership.  Help them during times of social upheaval and economic recession to work with communities of university students, and migrants who have not heard the good news of your salvation.

Dear Heavenly Father, Jesus my Redeemer, and Holy Spirit Comforter,

I pray tonight for those of us waiting for breakthroughs, changes in our lives that will allow us to go forward towards what we have prayed for.  Please stop the darkness that interferes or delays or distracts us from our blessings from you.  Thank you for your presence in your messages that guide us and instruct us in your Word.  Thank you for saving us from so many times that it tried to keep us from you.  

I also pray for the nation of Cote d'Ivoire in western Africa.  Their neighboring Burkina Faso has displaced many Fulani who have taken refuge in northern Cote d'Ivoire.  It has been encouraging to see previous Islamic Fulani come to faith.  We join the SIM workers to glorify God by working in partnership with the body of Christ to make disciples within the significant Fulani population.  Many children have suffered trauma and neglect and living on the streets.  Many women have been sexually exploited and trapped in human trafficking.  Spiritual and emotional healing is needed for these victims to experience freedom and restoration.  We pray that terrorism to be restrained in west Africa.

Dear Heavenly Father, my Protector and Redeemer Jesus and Holy Spirit,

I pray in thanks tonight for the music shared in the community I live where many others with like minded taste in the 60's music enjoyed time together.  I thought of you in the midst of the loud and talented band and could feel your presence to keep me connected to you.  I almost felt guilty for not praising you with an alleluia, since I had not listened to a secular band, other than at the 50th yr HS reunion, but I praise you now for bringing me together with them and some that I knew from whare I am living now. 

I also pray for the nation of Czechia where they are suffering a sharp increase in prostitution along the highways.  Please Lord, help them join resources with local churches and organizations to focus on this issue.  Bring forth networks to connect everyone to provide a safety net to reach out with love, service and gospel.

Dear Heavenly Father, my Protector and Redeemer Jesus Christ and Comforter  Holy Spirit and my ArchAngel Michael,

I  am thankful for the answer to prayers, Emily has been healed from her PCOS, her scan found nothing.  Praise you Lord, she  has been suffering with pain and feeling much better.  She is going back to the ENT Dr to recheck her nose that is still hard to breathe.  She was going to have a CPAP test for sleep apnea and hasn't done it yet.  Her Primary care wanted to give her a strong antibiotic and she was afraid to take it.  I pray that the Dr will find what the real cause is and a treatment that will work.  I also pray for those suffering from heartache, where meaningful relationships may have changed or dissolved and left with unanswered questions and a need for closure.  Sometimes people don't know if they are in the same place as others they met until they get to know each other better.  It can be painful to give and not have the same destiny as the other person.  I have learned to trust God who knows the end and the beginning at the same time.  I  have also learned to love someone from a distance and accept the differences that we have and not jump into a relationship with commitment that isn't ready.

I also pray for the East Africa Sending Office that includes Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and Tanzania.  The workers from this region serve in evangelism and disciple-making, church planting and radio and medical ministry.  The desert tribes that live in the Sahara Desert in North Africa, the Negev and the Arabian Peninsula in the Middle East are predominantly nomadic with cultural limitations for the ministry to reach. Please bless them with audio bibles to make the gospel accessible to those who have been unreached.

Dear Heavenly Father, Precious Jesus Christ my Savior, comforter Holy Sprit and Arch Angel Michael;

I pray thanksgiving for all the prayers you have answered, I may not know if they are what I prayed for but there is improvement in those who I had prayed for.  I also feel relief of anxiety from thinking I had to feel responsible for other people's feelings towards me.  I know God has not forgotten me and has people in mind for me to meet and share our faith and experiences together.  We all need others to love, we are looking for those who are like minded and understand what we have been through.  I surrender the direction and purpose that you have for me.  Please guide me in my daily decisions and control what outcomes are your divine plans.

Dear Heavenly Father, Precious Jesus Christ my Savior, comforter Holy Spirit and Arch Angel Michael,

I pray for families who are faced with loved ones who have chosen to break laws and abuse alcohol.  Please Lord help them cope with the heartbreak of the choices their loved one has made, potentially ruining their chances in college and with a high risk of being incarcerated.  I pray that the hearts of newly returned mission members to Ecuador will find a place to continue exploring their future path in that area.  The harvest is many but the workers are few.   Thank you Lord for waking up my energy to continue posting to this website.  I am grateful for your presence Lord, your continued guidance is my life and I am yours.

I also pray for East Asia that includes Taiwan, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia be mobilized and partner with seminaries, churches and individual missions to overcome resistance to Christianity.  It is encouraging that although Christianity is not a registered religion, but are gathering in homes under fellowships protected by fundamental constitutional rights.

Dear Heavenly Father, Jesus my Redeemer, Holy Spirit and Comforter, and Archangel Michael,

I pray today for healing for my daughter Emily who is suffering with a rash on her throut.  Please help her to get to her doctor appointments and follow their guidance.  I also continue praying for those families and their loved ones struggling with addictions.  I pray for those who have been tempted by stealing other peoples possessions, mail and packages that they would feel remorse and return the items.  

I also pray for the nation of Ecuador that they will continue to grow the rural churches team working in remote locations that they can raise up believers to make disciples.  Please Lord, open the edyes and hearts of those stuck in a variety of belief systems that include animism, and new Age practices.  Soften their hearts to see and feel the truth of Jesus Christ

Dear Heavenly Father, Jesus my Redeemer and Healer, Holy Spirit and Comforter and Archangel Michael,

I pray today for those of us who have legal issues to face, God give us strength to get through the process and follow through with the paperwork needed and time to meet when necessary.  Please give us courage to reach out for help if there are questions and what is needed.  I also pray for my youngest daughter diagnosed with a fungus infection.  I pray my granddaughter who asked to go to church is getting there and will grow in faith knowing your love Lord.

I also pray for the nation of Ethiopia where  more than half are under 20 approximately 117 million that they come to know Christ Jesus love and message of redemption.  They have survived war yet remain displaced and affected with food supply and rebuilding their lives home and communities.  Please guide the missions in travel to be safe.  Encourage the churches leaders in mentoring teaching and disciple-making.  Protect the homeless and newcomers to urban areas where they are at risk of being trafficked.

Dear Heavenly Father, Jesus my Redeemer, Holy Spirit and Comforter,

I pray today for those who are effected by the spread of a fungus that was purposely brought into this country to hurt people.  They are targeting our food supply to sicken livestock and humans.  They caught those responsible who are Chinese National.

I pray that those who need financial counseling can begin their budgeting in earnest, just even to keep track of expenses.  Even when you have a spreadsheet like I did, if you don't keep it up to date, things sneak by and cause problems.  Thank you Lord, for the calm for my mind and removing the fear of lack.  Give me the focus I need to manage my responsibilities with clarity and discipline.  Help me make wise choices with my resources, avoiding impulsive spending and honor you in how I save, spend and give. You are my provider and the source of all that I have.  I place all my finances and worries into your capable hands.

I also pray for the Faithful Witnesses Initiative in forgotten communities around the world with SIM.  They are multi-ethnic multi-skilled teams in communities where they have not heard the good new of Jesus Christ.  Praise God for the 70 mission workers from nine sending entities and 17 different nations to nine least-reached communities.  Their reach is from Chad, Thailand, Nigeria, Mali, North Africa, the Middle Ease, East Africa, South Asia, and Asia.  The need over the next 10 years for the Faithful Witnesses is to see God establish 20 new multi-ethnic, multi-skilled teams in Central Asia and East Africa.  Check out their new website, faithfulwitfness.org and pray that it will be a powerful tool in sharing the gospel.  God, I pray that the faithful witnesses will thrive in hard places and have courage and joy you provide when suffering for Jesus's name.  Bring stability where there is conflict, social favor where there is tension and meet human needs where there is a chronic lack of food and water.  May the missions be fruitful and find new believers in Jesus to bring glory to his name.
