Amanda prays:
"God, we confess that when we are tired and overwhelmed, we get turned around easily. We
reach for things that promise relief but only leave us feeling more disconnected. Take away our
shame today. Remind us that our desires for relief are just signs of our humanity, and help us to
intercept them with compassion. Thank You that You are the Father of Lights, steady and
unchanging. Give us the courage to ask for Your good and perfect gifts this week, and hold us
close when we are weak. Amen."
